Pizza Hut, a division of US-based Yum! Brands, has announced the appointment of Pranav Dahiya as Chief Financial & Strategy Officer and Nazia Abidi as Chief People & Culture Officer for the Indian Subcontinent.

These leadership changes come at a crucial time as Pizza Hut accelerates its expansion efforts in South Asia.

The brand is strengthening its presence across India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives to support its growth strategy.

Commenting on the appointments, Rohan Pewekar, Managing Director of Pizza Hut Indian Subcontinent, expressed enthusiasm about the new leadership additions.

He stated, “We are thrilled to welcome Pranav and Nazia to the Pizza Hut leadership team.”

Rohan added, “They join us at an exciting moment for the brand. With their leadership, we’re well-positioned to grow faster, lead smarter, and stay true to what matters—our people and our promise to customers.”

Pranav Dahiya: Leading Finance & Strategy

Pranav Dahiya brings nearly two decades of experience in finance and strategic planning, having worked with leading consumer and retail brands.

Before joining Yum! Brands, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Chaayos, where he played a critical role in P&L-focused decision-making, long-term business planning, and overseeing cross-functional operations.

His expertise spans strategy, sourcing, compliance, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A).

Before joining Chaayos, Pranav built a strong foundation as a corporate banker, handling diverse financial portfolios.

His expertise spanned multiple asset classes, geographies, and verticals, allowing him to navigate complex financial landscapes across various organizations.

His deep financial acumen and cross-industry experience position him as a key driver of Pizza Hut’s finance and strategy operations.

In his new role, he will focus on expanding the brand’s reach and enhancing operational efficiency.

He will also implement strong governance practices to ensure long-term value creation and sustainable growth.

Nazia Abidi: Spearheading People & Culture

Nazia Abidi joins Pizza Hut with over a decade of HR leadership experience across high-growth consumer and tech-driven businesses.

Most recently, she was with the CarDekho Group, where she led HR for Southeast Asia and played a key role in scaling the group’s fintech arm, Rupyy.

Nazia’s expertise spans HR Business Partnering, change management, employer branding, and talent acquisition.

At Pizza Hut, she will drive the people strategy for the Indian Subcontinent, ensuring effective workforce planning and development.

Her focus will be on organizational transformation, talent management initiatives, and fostering a high-performance culture that supports continuous growth.

Her leadership will be instrumental in enhancing employee engagement, streamlining HR operations, and driving continuous growth and development.

Pizza Hut Strategic Growth and Expansion

Pizza Hut’s leadership appointments align with its aggressive expansion strategy in the Indian Subcontinent.

The brand has been scaling operations across India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and customer experience.

Pizza Hut actively strengthens its financial and HR frameworks to support long-term growth, expanding its presence across India with over 900 outlets and introducing new formats across South Asia.
