Publicis Global Delivery (PGD), the globally connected capability platform of Publicis Groupe, has appointed Sugandha Sharma as its Senior Vice President – Human Resources.
The move comes as PGD continues to expand its global delivery footprint and deepen its commitment to culture-first, innovation-driven operations.
Professional Background
Sugandha Sharma brings over 15 years of experience in human resources, with a strong foundation in HR business partnering, organizational capability, and employee experience design.
She joins PGD from Cognizant, where she served as General Manager – Employee Experience Practice.
During her tenure, she led strategic consulting engagements focused on enhancing employee engagement and building human-centric HR solutions across geographies.
Prior to Cognizant, Sugandha held the position of HR Head for India, Argentina, Spain, and the UK at Digital Management (DMI).
In this multi-country role, she was responsible for regional HR operations and talent strategy, enabling workforce scalability and cross-border alignment through collaborative planning and focused leadership.
Her earlier career includes a significant stint at Wipro, where she held multiple leadership roles over nearly eight years.
These included HR Business Partnering for Cloud Infrastructure Services – Americas, and Organization Capability and Development for the India region.
She also worked with Mastek Ltd., Patni Computer Systems, and Perot Systems, gaining deep experience in employee lifecycle management and HR transformation across technology organizations.

Sugandha Sharma is an alumna of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, where she completed a program in Strategic Human Resource Management.
She also holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Balaji Institute of Management and Human Resource Development, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce.
Her academic background complements her professional journey, which has been marked by consistent growth, cross-functional leadership, and a focus on aligning HR practices with business outcomes.
