His responsibilities include:

  • Digital HR Transformation: Implementing tech-driven HR solutions to enhance efficiency and engagement.
  • Employee Experience & Retention: Strengthening Redington’s people-first model through structured growth programs.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Labor Strategy: Navigating complex employment laws and labor relations across multiple regions.

His leadership will be instrumental in building Redington’s next-gen workforce, ensuring agility, innovation, and sustainable growth.

Vijay Swaminathan’s Leadership Journey

Vijay brings nearly two decades of HR leadership experience, having held senior roles at Citigroup across South Asia and ASEAN.

His tenure at Citi included:

  • Head of HR – India GCCs, overseeing a 30,000+ workforce.
  • Labour Relations Lead for Asia (South) Cluster, managing complex regulatory environments.
  • Strategic HR leadership, focusing on talent development, DEI, and employee engagement.

His expertise in organizational transformation, workforce strategy, and leadership development positions him as a key driver for Redington’s next growth phase.
