Reliance Retail appoints Shathi Sharma as Vice President – Human Resources

Shathi Sharma joins Reliance Retail as VP – HR, effective from May 2021. She will be based out in Bengaluru. Prior to this, most recently she was working with Dixcy Textiles as CHRO for three years.

She is an HR veteran with over 18 years of experience having built business and HR teams. She brings an entrepreneurial flair to building an environment through HR practices, that foster a ‘Culture of Innovation’.

Prior to Dixcy Textiles, she was associated with Landmark Group and later joined Telenor, a multinational telecommunications company as HR Head Circle.

At Telenor, she was responsible for building, motivating, and retaining manpower, and positively contributing to organizational growth and profitability. She worked in countries like USA & Dubai.

Previously, Shathi also worked with Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, and Emirates NBD. She started her career as an associate at General Electric.

Shathi holds MBA from Delhi University, and EPLM from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
