Sona Comstar appoints Arunima Mohanty as Head – HR

Global automotive systems & components manufacturer, Sona Comstar appoints Arunima Mohanty as Head of HR – Driveline Business.

In this role, Arunima is responsible for partnering with the business in creating a strong value-based organization and the technology leader by augmenting the people practices. Creating a place where engineering passion meets the action. She will be responsible for People Development, Employer Branding, Innovation Development, Change Management, and Employee Engagement.

In the last few years, Arunima has run multiple cross-boundary projects like driving L&D, Leadership and Talent development, building assessment-based learning journeys, shaping performance management processes and skills, establishing talent management processes such as succession planning, and next-Gen Leaders, and contributed significantly to HR transformation.

Prior to Sona Comstar, Arunima was associated with Rockman Industries Ltd. as Head of Corporate Human Resources. She was responsible for partnering with the business in building a culture that focuses on people’s success and satisfaction.

She established a people strategy in creating the organization’s readiness to achieve the growth vision by working in the areas of Organization Design, HR Maturity Model, HR Digitization, Talent Management, and Analytics across the levels and geographies.

In her nearly 18 years of career, Arunima has been associated with Spectranet, National Engineering Industries Ltd. (NBC Bearings), Jay Bharat Maruti Ltd., Gabriel, and Environmental Engineering Group.

She holds MBA in Human Resources from Ambedkar University, Delhi.
