SUEZ Ropes-In Pawan Agarwal from Alstom as VP – HR, India

SUEZ appoints Pawan Agarwal as Vice President – Human Resources, India, effective September 29, 2025.

In this strategic leadership role, Pawan will spearhead the company’s HR strategies for India and work as a key member of the India Leadership Team.

SUEZ extends a warm welcome to Pawan Agarwal, expressing confidence that his leadership will further strengthen the company’s people strategy and organizational excellence in India.

Extensive Background and Experience

Pawan brings more than 25 years of rich experience in Human Resources management, particularly across the engineering and manufacturing sectors.

He has a strong background as an HR Business Partner and Talent Management Leader, known for driving organizational transformation and building sustainable talent programs that foster business growth and employee engagement.

Before joining SUEZ, Pawan was HR Director for Rolling Stocks, Components, and Services at Alstom Transport, where he designed and implemented HR strategies across diverse projects and industrial portfolios.

Earlier in his career, Pawan held leadership and strategic HR roles in several reputed organizations, including GE, Bechtel Corporation, Cleave Global eServices, and MG Gases, where he played pivotal roles in shaping people strategies, driving change, and fostering high-performance cultures.

Pawan holds an MBA in Human Resources from the University of Allahabad.
