Suzlon Group elevates Kavita Dasan as SVP – TM & Mfg HR Head

In a strategic move, Suzlon Group has promoted Kavita Dasan to Senior Vice President- Talent Management & Manufacturing HR Head.

With a proven track record in human resources and a results-driven approach, Kavita is well-equipped for this pivotal role.

Her expertise in talent strategy, employee engagement, and business innovation aligns with Suzlon’s growth aspirations, ensuring a pipeline of future-ready employees.

Background & Expertise

Kavita joined Suzlon Group as Head – Talent Management & Employee Engagement in Aug 2023 bringing a proven track record in enhancing organizational excellence from her previous roles:

ABP Network: Prior to joining Suzlon Group, Kavita served as the Chief People Officer at ABP Network for over four years. Based out of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, she played a pivotal role in fostering an open, creative, and learning culture within the organization.

DHFL and Zee Entertainment: Kavita’s experience extends beyond ABP Network. She held the position of Vice President (HR) at DHFL, contributing to the company’s growth and success. Before that, she spent over four years as VP-HR at Zee Entertainment Enterprise, leading HR practices for a workforce of more than 1700 across India.

Strategic Talent Acquisition: Kavita’s expertise isn’t limited to HR leadership. She has also excelled in talent acquisition. Her roles at Times Internet and the Times Group involved strategic talent acquisition, succession planning, and recruitment processes.

Billet Production: Suzlon Group aims to be the world’s largest billet producer. Billets—solid, cylindrical shapes of aluminium—are essential raw materials for various manufacturing processes. Kavita’s leadership will play a pivotal role in optimizing production efficiency and enhancing product value.

High-Quality Aluminium Billets: Suzlon Group’s billets support downstream manufacturers and extruders across sectors such as automotive, construction, and energy. With a casting capacity of 580 kilotonnes per annum, the company is India’s largest producer and exporter of top-quality aluminium billets.
