Head HR Chandan’s career in human resources began in July 2011 when he joined Asian Paints as a Human Resource Officer (HRO).
In June 2014, he transitioned to Samsung Electronics, taking on the role of HR-PST.
His journey with Tata Steel commenced in September 2015, when he moved from Noida to Maharashtra to serve as Manager HRM-CRC West.
Over the years, Chandan has held several key HR positions within Tata Steel, including:
- Senior Manager HRM-RMHS and L TSK (2018) – Relocated to Orissa.
- Senior Manager HRM-Supply Chain TSK (2020) – Strengthened HR operations.
- Senior Manager HRBP, Improvement & New Initiatives, TSK (2021) – Focused on workforce transformation.
- Head HRBP OMQ (2022-2024) – Led HR strategies for operational excellence.
- Head HRBP New Business (2023) – Based in Kolkata, overseeing HR for new ventures.
Educational Background and Expertise
Chandan holds an MBA from LN Mishra College of Business Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law from the Indian Law Institute.
