UltraTech Cement elevates Abhijeet as Functional Head- HR Vice President

One of the leading cement producers globally, UltraTech Cement has announced to elevate Abhijeet Jain as Functional Head-HR Vice President.

Most recently prior to this, he was working as Functional Head- Assistant HR Vice President.

Abhijeet Jain has confirmed the development on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Functional Head-HR Vice President at UltraTech Cement!”

Abhijeet has over 27 years of experience, as a Passionate HR Leader. He has driven significant improvements to the organization’s performance and empowered the achievement of executive objectives.

Abhijeet has significant experience in growth & transformations. He added value by evolving path-breaking HR initiatives, strengthening IR policies, building a culture of excellence identifying & closing skills gaps – at all levels, fueling workforce development, and supporting employees, stakeholders & unions along the journey of business and restructurings.

Prior to UltraTech Cement, Abhijeet was associated with Wockhardt Ltd. as Senior General Manager & Head HR.

Earlier, he was associated with TAFE – Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited as Head Plant HR. In this role, he was responsible for scaling up to a Plant HR Head role. He directed the HR function for the entire Tractor Manufacturing Plant, wherein he streamlined silos, fostered collaboration, and built strong, cohesive teams.

Previously, Abhijeet was associated with Tata Advanced Systems Ltd, Pfizer, ABB, RICO, Uflex Industries Limited, and AKSH OPTIC FIBER LTD. & C M I Limited, Ranutrol Group Limited, and SAMARTHAN-Center For Development Support.

Abhijeet holds M.Com. (Management) from Hamidia Arts & Commerce College (Under Barkatullah University), Management. He completed his B.COM. (Management) from Saifia College, Bhopal (Under Barkatullah University), Management.
