Urban Ladder elevates Shashwat Mittra as Head- HR

An omnichannel furniture and decor retailer company, Urban Ladder elevates Shashwat Mittra as Head of Human Resources.

In this role, he will be responsible for spearheading the entire gamut of Human Resources including Talent Acquisition, HRBP, HR Operations, L&D, and Admin/Facilities.

He has confirmed the appointment on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Human Resources at Urban Ladder!”

Most recently, Shashwat was Head – People & Culture at Urban Ladder. He has been working with the organization for nearly a year.

Shashwat has over a decade of experience in Human Resources. He is an entrepreneur turned HR professional who has extensively worked with Startups to help scale their team with talented folks.

Prior to Urban Ladder, Shashwat was associated with Meesho as Head- Talent Acquisition. In this role, he led the Monetization, Design, and Business verticals along with scouting for the Mid-Senior and Leadership level roles in the Technology domain (Principal Architect, DevOps, SDEs, SDETs).

He was the Founder of Seekers Inc. Here, he drove the end-to-end Operations of the venture to eliminate the gap between Organisations and Job Seekers. His earlier stints include Testbook.com, PayU, and HDFC Life.

He started his career working with Tata Consultancy Services as Business Analyst. In this role was responsible for extensive client interaction for requirement gathering.

He holds his master’s in Business Administration, International Business from Symbiosis International University and completed his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.), Chemical Engineering from SRM University.
