Standard Chartered has announced the expanded role of Urvi Jobalia as the Global Head of Early Careers, Talent Deployment & Strategic TA Partner – Tech & Ops.

Urvi’s elevation builds on her previous role as Group Head of Talent Deployment and Global Head of Resourcing for Technology & Operations.

With more than two decades of experience in HR and talent acquisition, Urvi has played a key role in shaping recruitment strategies across global firms such as Ericsson, Barclays, and Accenture.

At Ericsson, she implemented regional talent acquisition and diversity strategies across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, embedding workplace inclusivity in hiring and workforce planning.

During her tenure at Barclays, she focused on scaling the technology workforce across Asia, establishing recruitment models designed to attract top-tier digital talent.

Her experience at Accenture helped her develop high-impact hiring frameworks. These frameworks enhanced workforce agility in an increasingly dynamic job market.

Urvi’s contributions to the HR and talent space have been widely recognized.

She was honored as a Women Achievers Awardee by HRAI, a testament to her influence and leadership in talent management.

Beyond her corporate success, she actively participates in mentoring initiatives, supporting the next generation of HR professionals.
