Wipro appoints Ateet Jayaswal as Chief Employee Experience Officer

Wipro, a leading global information technology, consulting, and business process services company appoints Ateet Jayaswal as Chief Employee Experience Officer, effective January 2022.

Prior to this, most recently Ateet was associated with GE Digital as VP and Global Head- Human Resources.

An alumnus of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Ateet did an internship at Wipro and started his career at ITC Ltd. Ateet is a global executive with two decades of HR experience contributing to organizational growth and business results leveraging expertise in transformation, scaling organizations, and driving change with a focus on employee engagement.

He has experience as a board member and has worked with joint ventures. He has led end-to-end HR teams, in regional and global roles, has worked in Asia and US, across Technology and Healthcare businesses.

Announcing his appointment on social media Ateet said, “It is great to be back at Wipro, where I interned decades ago and later had an opportunity to lead Wipro’s joint venture with GE.”

“As I transition from GE after 16 years, I am grateful to all who contributed to me – for the learnings, experiences, camaraderie, and fun. It would be overwhelming to name individuals. Suffices to say, I don’t have the years to spend as many at another organization – so there won’t be another you! gratitude GE, GE Healthcare, GE Digital” he added.

Ateet further said, “I am grateful for the opportunity to lead employee experience (EX) at Wipro – placing us, team members at the center, of all that we do internally in an organization. A new, contemporary and expansive charter cannot be addressed by a small team.”
