Wipro Limited has appointed Sandeep Dhar as Global Head of its Global Capability Center (GCC) practice.

With more than three decades of experience in consulting and the GCC space, Sandeep has played a key role in building and growing some of the best-known GCCs in the industry.

In earlier roles, Sandeep led the development of Tesco and Goldman Sachs Consumer Bank’s GCCs, turning them into strong centers that supported key business goals.

He has handled senior leadership roles across industries, overseeing profit and loss, running digital programs, and applying advanced engineering methods.

Company Statement

At Wipro, Sandeep will lead the company’s strategy to support global businesses in setting up and growing their GCCs. His focus will be on helping clients build strong operations using AI and consulting services. He will report to Sanjeev Jain, Chief Operating Officer at Wipro.

“Wipro has worked with GCCs for more than 20 years. Sandeep’s leadership adds deep industry knowledge to our team,” said Sanjeev Jain. “His experience and Wipro’s strong capabilities will help us bring better value to our clients.”

Sandeep said, “As GCCs change to meet new business needs, companies need partners who understand how to make those changes work. Wipro is in a strong position to help them move forward, whether they’re starting out, expanding, or looking for a transition. I’m looking forward to making a strong impact in this space.”

Wipro’s GCC practice supports every phase of the GCC lifecycle—from planning and setup to daily operations—offering companies services that improve how they work and how they grow.
