Zeta Welcomes Shubhayu Sengupta as Chief People Officer

Zeta, a global provider of next-gen banking technology to financial institutions, has made a significant leadership appointment.

Shubhayu Sengupta, an industry veteran with an impressive track record, has taken on the role of Chief People Officer (CPO) at Zeta. 

This move underscores the company’s commitment to nurturing its talent and fostering a thriving organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities

In his new position, Shubhayu will oversee all people and workplace-related functions for Zeta’s global workforce of over 1,700 employees. Notably, more than 70% of these employees hold technology roles across various locations in the United States, the Middle East, and Asia. His responsibilities include:

People Strategy: Shubhayu will drive Zeta’s people strategy, aligning it with the company’s growth objectives. This involves attracting, retaining, and developing top talent to support Zeta’s expansion in the banking technology domain worldwide.

Organizational Culture: As CPO, Shubhayu will play a pivotal role in shaping Zeta’s organizational culture. He aims to create an environment where employees thrive, innovate, and contribute to the company’s success.

Talent Management Initiatives: Sengupta will lead talent management efforts, ensuring that Zeta’s workforce is equipped with the skills and capabilities needed to deliver cutting-edge banking technology solutions.

Zeta New Chief People Officer: Background

Shubhayu Sengupta brings over 25 years of experience in building high-performing organizations within the banking and financial services industry. 

His previous roles were at esteemed organizations such as PwC, Swiss Re, Wells Fargo, and EY. These have equipped him with a deep understanding of human resources, talent management, and organizational dynamics.
