Hero MotoCorp CIO & CHRO Vijay Sethi quits, Pradeep Eledath appointed interim IT Head

Vijay Sethi, CIO & CHRO of Hero MotoCorp, has quit the company after a thirteen-year long stint. His last working day at the automaker was January 20, 2021. Along with the role of CIO, Sethi also donned the role of Head CSR and Head Human Resources at Hero MotoCorp.

Pawan Munjal in an internal staff communication said, “I am writing to inform you that Vijay Sethi has left the organization, effective January 22, 2021, after 13 years of service.”

Before joining Hero MotoCorp in 2007, Vijay Sethi has worked with Ranbaxy and TCS in various senior positions.

The company has named Pradeep Eledath as in change of IT function during the interim period until a new CIO is appointed.

“While a CIO would be appointed in due course, Pradeep Eledath, on secondment for EY, will be in charge of the IT function in the interim”, added Munjal.

Pradeep has more than 25 years of experience in information technology, digital transformation and cybersecurity.
