NIVEA India Appoints ex-Hershey Geetika Mehta as MD

The world’s largest skincare brand, NIVEA India has announced the appointment of Geetika Mehta as Managing Director (MD).

Sharing the development the company said, “NIVEA India is proud to announce the appointment of Geetika Mehta as Managing Director.”

“She brings onboard a wealth of experience in the FMCG sector across geographies. She has a proven track record of developing small businesses and managing large-scale corporations across markets”, the company added.

The company further said, “As NIVEA India continues to be synonymous with trust, care, quality, courage, and simplicity, Geetika’s vision and expertise promise to usher in an era of leadership that aligns with the brand’s core values.”

Commenting on her new role, Geetika Mehta said, “I am thrilled to join NIVEA India, a brand synonymous with trust and quality in skincare.”

“As we navigate the ever-evolving skincare landscape, my focus will be on driving innovation, enhancing customer experiences, and further solidifying NIVEA’s position as the skincare brand of choice for millions of Indians”, she added.

Geetika Mehta has over 20 years of business leadership experience and P&L delivery. Prior to NIVEA India, she was associated with Hershey India as Managing Director of India.

Previously, she was working with Unilever where she held various leadership roles. Her last designation was General Manager, Home and hygiene (India) & Regional Brand Director (South Asia).

Geetika Mehta holds her Master’s in Business Administration from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and completed his Bachelor’s degree, Economics Honours from Shri Ram College of Commerce.
