On Saturday, Indian IT major, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced the changes in senior management positions (SMP). According to a BSE filing, TCS informed that Ananth Krishnan will be no longer in SMP from the 31st of July 2023 due to his retirement falling in October 2023.
Harrick Vin will take over as senior management personnel from August 1. He is currently the chief services innovation officer at TCS, the company said in BSE filing.
Harrick is currently the chief services innovation officer at TCS. Before this, he was the head of TCS Digitate. He has been in academia and industry for over 30 years and has been with TCS for 18 years.
The Indian IT major also informed the Indian stock market that Shankar Narayanan, V Rajanna, Siva Ganesan, Ashok Pai, and Raguraman Ayyaswamy will also take over as SMPs from July 31, 2023.
However, TCS has also announced that Rajashree R would no longer be SMP.
Dr. Harrick Vin
Dr. Harrick Vin is currently the chief services innovation officer at TCS. He has been in academia and industry for over 30 years and has been with TCS for 18 years. Prior to joining TCS, he was a Professor of Computer Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin for 15 years.
Shankar Narayanan
Shankar Narayan is Senior Vice President of the company and has been associated with TCS for over 30 years. He has held important roles, including the global head of retail, CPG, travel and hospitality, and the head of TCS’ UK and Ireland market, among others.
Ashok Pai
Ashok Pai is Senior Vice President and Global Head of Cognitive Business Operations (CBO), he has played a huge role in helping enterprises keep pace with the digital economy.
Reguraman Ayyaswamy
He has been with TCS for 29 years. He is the firm’s global head of the Internet of Things (IoT) and digital engineering units. He has helped create value-based solutions and services for accelerating integrated manufacturing and product development.
V Rajanna
V Rajanna is a Senior Vice President at TCS and the Head of the Communications, Media, and Technology businesses. He has over three decades of rich and varied experience in the Information Technology (IT) arena. Prior to this role, Rajanna was the Head of the Technology Business Unit. He has also been the Head of TCS’ Hyderabad location and played an important role in the growth of that centre.
Siva Ganesan
Siva Ganesan is a Senior Vice President at TCS and the Global Head of the Microsoft Business Unit. With over 30 years in the IT industry, Siva has across-the-board experience in sales, solutioning, operations, program management, delivery, and global account management. Under his leadership, the Assurance Services Unit (ASU) showed rapid growth and today serves a large, diversified customer base globally.
Most recently in March, Rajesh Gopinathan stepped down as CEO & MD from the company to pursue his other interests. However, Mr. Gopinathan will continue with the company till 15th September 2023 to provide transition and support to his successor.
K. Krithivasan as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Company has taken over from Rajesh Gopinathan from June 1, 2023.
