Abhimanyu Sen takes over as Head- HR, Ford-Mahindra JV

Abhimanyu Sen, Senior General Manager and HR Head at Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, is set to take over as the Head- Human Resources of their joint venture on 1st April 2020.

Abhimanyu Sen is a senior HR Professional with over 17 years of experience across industry verticals and geographies with specialization in Business Partnering, Performance & Talent Management, Change Management, Learning & Development, and HR Integration roles.

Prior to joining Mahindra & Mahindra, Abhimanyu has worked with companies like General Electric (GE – Alstom Integration) as HR Leader, Kotak Life Insurance as Zonal HR Head – South and West, and Ernst & Young (EY) as Sr. Consultant – Business Advisory Services (Human Capital)

He began his career as an HR Manager at ICICI Bank in 2005, after completing his master’s degree in personnel management and industrial relations, from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TIS).

Mahindra & Mahindra formed a joint venture (JV) with Ford Motor Company after buying a 51 percent stake in the Indian unit of the US auto major. The new joint venture will develop, market and distribute Ford branded vehicles in the Indian market, to drive profitable growth in similar emerging markets.

Anurag Mehrotra will take over as the Chief Executive of Ford-Mahindra joint venture.
