Bidvest Noon gets Former Vodafone Julie Mernagh as CPO

Bidvest Noon has announced the appointment of Julie Mernagh as the company’s new Chief People & Culture Officer.

In this role, Julie will lead the People and culture team, focusing on developing and executing a people strategy to foster an enhanced workplace environment and improve the overall employee experience.

Bidvest Noonan CEO, Declan Doyle said “Julie’s experience and values align perfectly with the needs of our business. She has a proven track record of building successful HR strategies, transforming colleague experiences, and unlocking potential.”

On her appointment Julie said, “I am delighted to share that I’ve taken up a new role as Chief People and Culture Officer at Bidvest Noonan, an ambitious company that is passionate about putting its people first and creating employee experiences that will enable their growth trajectory.”

“I’ve had a fantastic introduction to the company and culture over the last two weeks, meeting my teams and colleagues across GB and IOI – experiencing first hand the commitment for our customer and our people”, she added.

She is a global senior HR professional, with a drive to work collaboratively to solve complex people and culture challenges, enabling the business strategy. Additionally she has exposure in experience across public and private sectors including financial services, digital, telecommunications, FMCG and food and agriculture.

Prior to Bidvest Noon, she was the Global Head of Leadership and Talent Development at Vodafone, Julie was instrumental in developing innovative leadership and talent strategies across Europe and Africa.

Julie has over a decade of consulting experience at renowned firms like PwC and Accenture, she specialized in areas such as strategy, people & change, and led large-scale transformations across Europe.
