Biocon appoints Joyeeta Chatterjee as Vice President- Human Resources

Biocon Limited, an Indian biopharmaceutical company appoints Joyeeta Chatterjee as Vice President- Human Resources. In her new role, she will lead the entire gamut of the people and culture agenda of Biocon.

Prior to this, Joyeeta was associated with Future Consumer Limited as Chief People Officer for close to 3 years.

Joyeeta comes with over 25 years of experience spanning Head HR roles, HR Global COE Leader, large-scale business and process transformation roles. Managed Board facing HR Leadership roles and experience of working in companies involving stringent compliance standards.

She has worked in both Global MNCs and Indian Family-run businesses with strengths in HR Business Partnering, creating robust people practices around Talent, Change Management, Leadership Hiring, Employer Branding, Total Rewards, Career journeys, M&A & Learning. 

Her experience includes developing and delivering human resource strategy across diverse Industry segments such as Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail, e-commerce, Telecom, Product Tech, Infrastructure, with teams based in India, Asia, North America, Parts of Europe, and Middle East.

Before joining Future Group, she has been associated with Punj Lloyd, OLX Group, Sun Pharma, Jubilant Life Sciences and Ranbaxy, etc.

Joyeeta holds a masters degree in Human Resources from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, is a certified MBTI facilitator, and CPI 360 coach.
