CHRO of Aptech Limited Shourya Chakravarty has stepped down

After a 10 year eventful stint as CHRO of Aptech Shourya Chakravarty has stepped down and will be leaving the company on 31st January. His colleague, Vishal Mehra, SVP & Head, Team ICAP at Aptech Ltd will be the next CHRO w.e.f. 1st February.

Commenting on this move, Dr. Anil Pant, MD & CEO said that it will be a loss to the company, but he respects Shourya’s decision to pursue his career elsewhere. Dr. Pant also said that Shourya was instrumental in reorienting the people strategy of Aptech, resulting in a culture of trust and camaraderie. Under his stewardship, the organization achieved global recognition in people practices and also made an incredible journey from PCMM Level 3 to Level 5 in three years.

Vishal is a seasoned HR leader and has been with the company since 2016, leading a different vertical. In the past, Vishal has been the Global CHRO of Aegis BPO and has held leadership positions in other companies as well.

Aptech Computer Education is a premier IT education institute. Established in 1986, Aptech is a pioneer in IT software & hardware training. The Institute has successfully trained 70 lakh students through its wide network of education centres located in 40 countries.
