Essar Oil UK strengths its leadership team appoints new CPO

Essar Oil UK has announced the appointment of Nimish Khare to the position of Chief People Officer (CPO). 

Deepak Maheshwari, CEO Essar Oil UK, said: – “I am pleased to welcome Nimish to my executive leadership team in the key role of Chief People Officer.”

“I know Nimish will play a key role to support our teams as they develop to deliver our ambition of being the UK’s first low carbon refinery”, Deepak Maheshwari added.

Rahul Taneja, Managing Director Essar Capital said: – “Developing high performing teams through an inclusive and supportive culture is an essential component of achieving our Essar Energy Transitions ambitions.”

On his appointment, Nimish Khare, Chief People Officer said, “I’m honoured and privileged to be part of this exciting phase of transformation led growth at Essar Oil (UK) Limited. I look forward to working with our amazing teams to develop and nurture people strategy to achieve our transition ambitions.”

Nimish is a growth-focused HR leader with more than two decades of experience. He is a growth-focused HR Leader with extensive experience spanning all aspects of Engagement, Employee Relations, Talent and performance management in geographically dispersed teams across UK and Europe within the IT / Technology sectors.

Recently, Nimish has most worked at LTIMindtree. In this role, he was responsible for developing high performance teams and partnering with executive colleagues to build an inclusive and supportive HR culture and to implement people strategies to support the delivery of business objectives.

Previously, he was associated with leading organization including Coforge, Wipro Technologies, Infosys Technology and STMicroelectronics.

Moreover, he has helped steer the teams at these companies through innovative and transformational people strategies. 

Nimish holds an MBA from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune and completed his is an electrical engineer.
