Fi Money appoints Poornima as Head- People and Culture

Bengaluru-based fintech firm, Fi Money has announced the appointment of Poornima Kamath as Head- People and Culture.

In this role, Poornima will help the company strategize and implement innovative hiring and retention practices as the demand for top talent intensifies.

Sujith Narayanan, co-founder, and CEO of Fi Money said, “As we grow, it is critical to expand our leadership team and capabilities.”

“People and culture have always been and will continue to be one of our most important pillars. Poornima joins our leadership team to own and lead all our efforts on the people side” Sujith Narayanan added.

Poornima Kamath has confirmed the development on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of People and Culture at Fi!”

Poornima said, “Having worked with several successful global companies over the last couple of decades, I am looking forward to being part of this growing organization as we design and implement a people agenda that drives our business forward.”

She is an HR Leader with over 20 years of experience. Prior to Fi Money, She was associated with Hindustan Coca-Cola. In this role, she was leading HR for Sales and Diversity and Inclusion.

Previously, Poornima was with Microsoft for over 12 years and has gained experience within Talent Acquisition & Line HR functions including Talent Management, Org Effectiveness, Performance Management, Leadership Effectiveness, Management excellence & Culture, and Diversity & Inclusion.

Poornima has worked across multiple business groups – Engineering, Research, Services & Support. She has also built expertise in working across multiple cultures/countries given her global role at Microsoft.

She started her with Mysis Healthcare as HR Executive. In this role, she performed a variety of complex and confidential HR & duties requiring a thorough knowledge of organizational procedures. She worked independently, exercising judgment and initiative.

Poornima is an alumnus of Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies. She completed her Bachelor of Commerce from Bangalore University.
