IndiGo appoints Sukhjit S Pasricha as Group CHRO

India’s largest passenger airline, IndiGo appoints Sukhjit S Pasricha as the Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective November 1, 2022.

Earlier, Sukhjit has been also associated with IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) as Head of HR & Admin (Vice President-HR & Admin) from April 2013 – January 2018.

Sukhjit has over 25 years of experience in human resources across different industries, sectors, and complex businesses (both B2B and B2C).

His experience across the entire value chain of the HR function has helped him to gain an immense ability to understand business imperatives and align HR solutions to the same. He has an in-depth understanding of technical subject matter in the area of Human Resources; the ability to work with senior leadership; and Leading/Programming complex HR transformation projects.

Sukhjit’s specialties include experience in leading the HR function in B2B / B2C organizations, Global exposure, HR Technology (strategy, design, and execution), Outsourcing and Change Management, High networking skills for environment scanning, analyzing trends, and deriving learnings.

Sukhjit has held various leadership roles. Before joining IndiGo, he is working with Kotak Mahindra Bank as Group CHRO (President – HR). Earlier, he was associated with Bajaj Finance Ltd as Chief of HR & Admin.

Previously, Sukhjit was associated with Bharti Airtel International (Netherland) B.V. as Sr Vice President – HR (Airtel Africa). In this role, he was responsible for driving the HR transformation across 17 countries. Additionally, he was Head-HR / HR Business Partner for 9 Anglophone countries

Sukhjit holds an MBA from Guru Nanak Dev University and completed his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Punjab University, Chandigarh.
