L&T Infotech veteran Ajay Tripathi joins ReNew Power as CHRO

Ajay Tripathi has joined ReNew Power as Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to this, he was working with L&T Infotech as CHRO and Global Head of HR for over three years.

Ajay comes with more than 27 years of experience spread across industries like steel, cement, media, banking, white goods, application services, automobile, contact centre, R&D, etc.

Before joining L&T Infotech, Ajay has been associated with companies like Atos India, Dell, EY, Mercer, and Steel Authority of India (SAIL) in HR leadership roles.

Working with these companies he developed himself as a strong business-focused HR professional who drives the people agenda for the organization in close alignment with the business strategy.

Ajay is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, he holds a Post Graduate Programme in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations and did B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering & Material Sciences from (IIT), Kanpur.

ReNew Power, established in 2011, is renewable energy IPPs in terms of total energy generation capacity. Since commencing operations with a 25.2 MW wind project in Jasdan, Gujarat, the company has grown exponentially and has a current renewable asset base of nearly 10 GW, including projects under development and in the pipeline.

In 2019-20 ReNew Power contributed nearly 1% of the total electricity generated in India and helped mitigate 0.5% of the carbon emitted in a year.
