Shree Cement appoints Vinod Chaturvedi as CHRO

One of the top 3 cement groups in India, Shree Cement Ltd. has appointed Vinod Chaturvedi as new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

He had previously worked with the organization between 1992-1995 as the Human Resources Manager.

Commenting on his new role Vinod said, “I’m enthused and happy to take up the Chief Human Resources Officer role at Shree Cement Ltd.”

Vinod is a highly experienced HR professional with nearly 33 years in the manufacturing and service sectors. He has operated at both corporate and plant levels, handling strategic, tactical, and operational HR functions.

His expertise extends to managing change, redesigning organizations, and integrating cultures effectively.

He has focused on building culture, commitment, competence, and capability while managing industrial relations, public relations, and legal portfolios. Additionally, he has worked on large greenfield projects, overseeing everything from land acquisition to erection and commissioning.

Vinod joined Shree Cement Ltd. from Century Textiles and Industries Limited where he was Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Previously, he worked with Essel Mining and Industries Limited as CHRO- Mineral Resources & Mining, Head- Noble Ferro Alloys Business, and Group Head – Employee Relations.

His earlier stints include working with UltraTech Cement, Viraj Profiles Ltd, and Reliance Communications.

Vinod began his career as a Management Trainee at Indian Rayon, a unit of Aditya Birla Nuvo Limited, and his final position there was Deputy Manager of Human Resources.
