Today, Swadesh Behera takes charge as Chief People Officer at Titan Company. His appointment was announced in the month of February and he was supposed to take charge from R. Rajnarayan after this retirement on June 30, 2021.
Prior to Titan, Swadesh was Senior Director – HR at Boston Scientific Corporation (BSC). He began his career with Coca-Cola as General Manager – HR, India, in December 1998.
After six years, he moved to Ranbaxy Laboratories as Director – HR, India region, in 2005. A two-year stint later, he moved to MSD Pharmaceuticals (MERCK & Co.), as Director – Human Resources, based out of Gurgaon.
He has extensive change management experience include setting up greenfield operations, building capabilities and talent acquisition during high growth phases of business, Implementing appropriate HR interventions, Employee Transition Management during business closures, etc. Good Analytical skills, Business Appreciation, Process Orientation, and Strong Inter-Personal skills are some of his key strengths.
Swadesh holds an MA degree in Human Resources Management from TISS and an MA in Sociology from the University of Hyderabad.
