A part of the over US$ 110 billion Tata Group’s Tata Chemicals has appointed Rahul Pinjarkar as Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), effective June 1, 2023.
He has succeeded R Nanda who has recently retired from the position. Nanda will continue to be associated with the Tata Group in an Advisory capacity to facilitate the transition. He spent more than 17 years with the Tata Group.
He has over 24 years of professional experience in industries varied in their endeavors, temperaments, approach, and policies. He has provided leadership to the HR Function that includes facilitating a culture of meritocracy, improving HR functional delivery, fostering healthy industrial & employee relations, and managing the change process.
Rahul has expertise lies in creating a competitive advantage through people and further transforming a company to become an employer of choice.
Prior to Tata Chemicals, He was associated with Trent Hypermarket Pvt Ltd (STAR) as Director- Human Resources. He worked with the organization for over 5 years.
His earlier stints include working with Saint-Gobain, Novartis India, ICICI Prudential AMC Ltd, Philips Lighting, and Wockhardt Ltd.
He holds his MLS, Human Resources & Organisational Behavior from the Maharashtra Institute of Labour Studies, Mumbai, and completed his Bachelor of Science from the Institute of Science, Nagpur.
