Viatris gets PepsiCo’s Vikas Joshi as Head-Global People Solutions

A global healthcare company, Viatris has announced the appointment of Vikas Joshi as Head of Global People Solutions. 

Vikas has confirmed the appointment on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Global People Solutions at Viatris!”

Vikas is a global HR professional with over two decades of experience working in 8 different countries and cultures. He brings a wealth of large-scale HR Leadership and Transformation experience.

He has a spanning experience in Global Total Rewards, Shared Services setup, business partnering in the Middle East, global HRMS deployment, and large-scale company-wide HR transformation initiatives.

Vikas has worked in IT, Textiles, and CPG and has lived in India, Mauritius, Hong Kong, Thailand, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the US.

Prior to Viatris, he was associated with PepsiCo as Vice President of HR, Global Operations. He was located in the US. His career span with the organization is of over 18 years.

Before this Vikas was Senior Director, Human Resources with the organization. He was handling Global HR Transformation for PepsiCo. In this role, he was responsible for setting up HR-shared services across 3 green-field delivery centers (Hyderabad, Krakow, and Cairo) via process standardization and technology solutions.

Previously, Vikas was Head HR with Arvind Mills Overseas Ltd. He started his career working with Iflex Solution as Associate Consultant.

He is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur. He holds his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics from the University of Mumbai.
