Visa appoints Pawan N Setty as Vice President – Head of HR APAC. In his new role, he will oversee the Technology side of the business. His appointment is effective from May 2020.
Prior to this, Pawan was working with AirAsia India as Head of People & Culture for almost 2 years. In early 2018 he joined AirAsia India where he was serving as the Head People & Culture (CHRO) at their HQ in Bangalore. Here, Pawan was a member of the Executive Leadership team. Works closely with the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Board leading succession planning at all levels and was responsible for all facets of HR.
Previously Pawan worked with organizations like International Flavours and Fragrances India, Thomson Reuters (Tech & Content COE) and DELL. Experienced in employee retention, competency mapping, change management, leadership development, and business partnering.
He is a passionate HR professional, an accomplished CHRO and board member with over 18+ years of success across industries such as IT, digital, financial information services, scent, flavors, specialty chemical, ITES, engineering, and aviation #traveltech.
