WhiteOak Capital ropes in Sankha Bhowmick from Goldman Sachs as Group CHRO

WhiteOak Capital, an investment management and advisory services company, appointed Sankha Bhowmick as Group Chief Human Resources Officer.

Sankha confirmed the development on LinkedIn and said, “I started a new journey with the WhiteOak Capital group last month.”

“My career journey so far has been nothing less than incredible, and I continue to carry strong relationships and cherished memories. I wish to continue the relearning process that has been instrumental in my personal and professional growth”, he added in his post.

White Oak Capital founder Prashant Khemka said, “We are delighted to welcome Sankha as our Chief Human Resources Officer. He brings with him a wealth of experience in managing large and diverse talent pools.”

“His expertise shall be invaluable in further reinforcing the performance-first culture at our firm, as we continue to scale up our business across the group,” Prashant Khemka added.

With over 25 years of experience, Sankha is a versatile Business Transformation Practitioner, adept at risk management and leading HR functions.

He has successfully established GCCs and greenfield startups, supporting diverse industries such as Financial Services, IT, Retail, Media, and Consulting.

His expertise lies in team leadership, fostering collaborations in multicultural environments across Indian companies and MNCs.

Prior to WhiteOak Capital, he was associated with Goldman Sachs and held various leadership roles. His last designation was Vice President, global strategy/CoS- SecDb BU | program lead – global SRE BU | Hyderabad Engg Leader.

His earlier stints include working with Mahindra Group, Convergys, Barista Coffee Company, Star India Pvt Ltd, and Binary Semantics Ltd.

He holds his Master’s in Business Administration from All India Management Association (AIMA) and completed his Bachelor of Science from Delhi University.
