Senior HR Leader, Deepaq K Sharma passes away

Senior HR Leader, Deepaq K Sharma passed away, according to sources he was battling with deadly coronavirus for 10 days and he took his last breath yesterday.

In his career spanning over three decades, he had handled HR for large multinational organizations in various geographies including India, South East Asia. His experience spans a range of industry sectors that include FMCG, Manufacturing, Pharma, Cement, Textiles, Telecom, Healthcare and Retail sectors

He had worked as CHRO, EVP, SVP, VP HR with Public Listed Business Houses like Corning Inc, PepsiCo, DSG Ag, MGI, Bhilwara Group, Birla’s, Bharat Silks, Surya Pharma (Surya Corp), GNG Group.

Deepaq K Sharma started his career in the year 1990 after completing his MBA from UPTU. Thereafter, Corning Inc Corporation was his first organisation from where he entered the field of Human Resources as a management trainee.

Currently, he was associated as Director- Human Resources, Project and Ops with DSG Ag in Singapore.

Commenting on his sad demise, HR veteran Dr. GP Rao, said, “So Sad! Deepaq and I had worked together at Birlas. Our Deep condolences. May his soul rest in peace. Om Shanti”

Manoj Sharma, CHRO, RSWM Ltd, said, “Ohhh very sad, we lost a great professional and human being, I know Deepaq past 15 years and on several occasions and event we’re together, spent good time with him. Om Shanti”
