Citi Malaysia appoints Tooba M. as CHRO

The global bank, Citi Malaysia has announced the appointment of Tooba M. as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Most recently, she was working as Sr. Vice President- Head- Learning, Performance & Talent Management, DEI- Citi South Asia.

In this role, Tooba M. as Chief Human Resources Officer for Citi Malaysia will be responsible for covering the bank (Citibank Berhad), and Citi Labuan & Solution Centres (CTSM).

Tooba M. has confirmed the development on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’ve started a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer- at Citi Malaysia, based in Kuala Lumpur.”

“I’m grateful for all the enriching and challenging career opportunities I have had at Citi over the last 14 years!”, she added.

Tooba M. is a Human Resources leader with experience in global organizations across the IT & financial services industry. She is skilled in HR Business Partnering, Performance & Talent Management, Diversity & Inclusion, Learning & development, Leadership training, and Talent Acquisition.

Tooba M. has over 16 years of experience in the HR domain. Earlier, she was associated with Wipro Technologies as Talent Engagement & Development. In this role, she was responsible for HR Business Partner in the dynamic Product Engineering space with a strong focus on Talent Engagement, Development, Retention & workplace transformation. She worked with the organization for over 2 years.

Tooba M. holds a Doctor of Philosophy – PhD, Human Resources Development from Goa University and Master of Business Administration (MBA), Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Goa Institute of Management (GIM). She completed her bachelor’s from Dempo College of Commerce & Economics.
