Accenture in India is looking candidates for over 10,000 jobs

An Irish-American professional services company, Accenture employs over 300,000 employees in India and is on a hiring spree and looking for candidates across the country India for over 10,000 jobs.

Recently the company has also announced, a $3 billion investment plan over three years in its Data & AI practice to help clients across all industries rapidly and responsibly advance and use AI to achieve greater growth, efficiency, and resilience.

“There is unprecedented interest in all areas of AI, and the substantial investment we are making in our Data & AI practice will help our clients move from interest to action to value, and in a responsible way with clear business cases,” said Julie Sweet, chair and CEO, Accenture. 

The company said it will have 80,000 people working on AI as it hires, buys other companies, and trains more employees. Accenture did not say when it would hit that number but added that the investment was aimed at helping companies across 19 industries.

India is set to be a crucial part of the plan. The company did not specify details about the investment in India. The country is one of the largest in terms of its delivery center.

Accenture is a talent and innovation-led company with 738,000 people serving clients in more than 120 countries. Last year, Accenture also launched new centers in Jaipur, Coimbatore, and Indore in India.

Recently, the company has posted over ten thousand jobs on its career page and looking for suitable candidates across the country in India.

Accenture WFO Policy

Like other IT & Tech Companies, IT and consulting giant, Accenture is also encouraging employees to work from the office. It has instructed the Team Leaders and Managers to ensure their respective team members are working from their base locations by August 31, 2023.

Part of the $3-billion investment will go into hiring 80,000 people through acquisition and training.
