An American multinational technology company, Amazon in India is hiring for various roles including HR Jobs.

The company said on its page, “Working backward from the customer is what drives our success. Since our launch in India, we’ve expanded the products we offer to more than 100 million items.”

“Our goal is to become a trusted sales and logistics channel for all vendors. We want to become a convenient online shopping destination. We’re committed to major investment over the long term to raise the bar for customer experience”, the company added.

It further said, “India is a major market for us. We’ve invested heavily in growing the e-commerce sector and tailoring our famous customer service to the unique demands of this diverse country.”

“From desktop to doorstep, our goal is to provide a seamless journey for every package. It’s a tall order, but we’re rising to the challenge, helped by our skilled workforce”, it added.

Earlier, Amazon India created more than 100,000 seasonal job opportunities across its operations network. These opportunities included direct and indirect jobs across India in cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Chennai, among others.

These job opportunities were created ahead of the Amazon Great Indian Festival that kicks off on October 8 (with early access to Prime customers starting October 7), Amazon India has already onboarded the majority of these new hires into its existing network.

The new hires also include customer service associates, some of whom are part of the virtual customer service model, aimed at providing elevated customer experience.
