Apple starts hiring for India retail stores; Apply

According to reports, An American multinational technology company, Apple starts hiring employees for retail stores in India.

Apple has planned to set up physical retail locations in India. The company is also planning to fill other roles as the technology company prepares to open stores in the country.

Earlier, Apple supplier Foxconn also announced the construction of large hostel complexes to accommodate as many as 60,000 workers near its manufacturing facility near Chennai. The company wants to quadruple its Indian workforce in the next 2 years.

The company commented on the hiring process on its career page, “Apple is where you’ll work with others who share your passion. Where business serves expertise.”

“Where a healthy respect for courage and original thinking inspires you to bring your best to what we do together”, the company added.

The company has listed the various opening on the website’s “Jobs at Apple” page for “Apple Retail”. The retail positions will hire for various locations within the country, including Mumbai and New Delhi.

The Apple CEO wanted to open brick-and-mortar stores in India in 2021, but these plans were delayed due to the Covid pandemic.

The hiring news comes at a time when most of the companies in 2023 have announced layoffs including Amazon, Salesforce, Goldman Sachs, and McDonald’s.
