Cognizant’s headcount expanded to over 341,000 employees globally in Q2 amid an intensely competitive labour market. Revenue for the quarter grew 1.7 percent sequentially and 7 percent year-on-year to $4.9 billion. Cognizant follows the calendar year, and for the quarter ending June 30, 2022, reported a net profit of $577 million, up by 2.5 percent sequentially.
