The company has increased investments in enabling upskilling resulting in 3 Mn hours of learning during the quarter with a focus on digital skills.

The company’s third-quarter net addition was 2,945 during the third quarter. The closing headcount was 222,270. The company added 5,892 freshers during this quarter.

The LTM Attrition was 21.7% which was slightly lower as compared to the September quarter of the fiscal year where it was at 23.8 percent. Women’s workforce contribute is 29.2% of the total workforce.

In 1976, there were only 250 computers in India. It was then that Shiv Nadar, the founder of HCL, led a team of eight young people who passionately believed in the power of information technology. From that vision, grew a global enterprise that redefined the Indian IT industry.

Today, HCLTech—which spun off as a separate unit in 1991—is one of the leading IT service providers worldwide, with a revenue of US$ 12.3bn.
