Other Infosys Stories

Infosys Nilanjan Roy, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) said, “Wage hikes are announced and will be rolled out from November 1 across all employees.” The company is planning to give an average payout of 80% to employees in its quarterly performance bonus. This is higher variable pay than the company had given earlier.

“Last year, we hired 50,000 freshers and hired ahead of demand…we still have a significant fresher bench… we are, of course, training them on Gen AI…but we still have a way to go on utilization, and at the moment are not going to campuses as yet…we will monitor this every quarter looking at our future projections,” he added.

Recently, Infosys has ended the work from home and asked its employees to come to the office. This change primarily affects employees categorized under Brand 5 and 6, encompassing mid-level managers, and entry-level staff. They have been directed to work for a minimum of 10 days each month from office.

Infosys has seen a dip of 7,530 in its headcount over the second quarter of FY24, taking the total headcount to 328,764. The company had 3,36,294 employees in the previous quarter.
