Allegedly, an Indian banking and financial services company, Kotak Mahindra Bank intends to recruit approximately 400 engineers this year to bolster its technological infrastructure following criticism from the RBI regarding deficiencies.

Recently, RBI instructed Kotak to cease digital client acquisition and credit card issuance due to identified inadequacies in its IT framework.

By beefing up its engineering team, Kotak aims to implement robust upgrades and enhancements to its IT infrastructure, thereby fortifying its systems against vulnerabilities and potential lapses.

This proactive approach underscores Kotak’s commitment to compliance and technological advancement in the dynamic banking landscape.

Through strategic recruitment and focused efforts, Kotak endeavors to not only rectify existing issues but also future-proof its technology systems, fostering trust and confidence among regulators, clients, and stakeholders alike.
