A global leader in IT services Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is hiring for various roles including fresher graduates.

Hiring in the IT Industry has been slow for macroeconomic reasons but TCS is expanding its team, and hiring for over 2,000 roles in India.

While announcing Q4FY24, March ending financial results Milind Lakkad, Chief HR Officer said, “We’re actively hiring, with significant numbers joining. Attrition happens, but our recruitment remains robust with sizable additions.”

In the January-March period, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) saw a sequential decrease in headcount by 1,759 employees. The company workforce stands at 6,01,546 as of March 31, 2024.

The company sees its first full-year decrease in headcount in 19 years, with a reduction of 13,772 employees in the Financial Year 2023-24.
