Since the company hasn’t specified the exact number of vacancies, it remains to be seen how many offer letters will be extended by India’s top recruiter in the IT sector.

Milind Lakkad, Chief HR Officer at TCS said during the December 2023 earnings call, “We have commenced our campus hiring process for the next year and see tremendous excitement among freshers to join TCS,”.

Lakkad also elaborated that while it would be challenging to specify the exact number of hires, the company anticipates recruiting “a big number” of freshers. For the fiscal year 2023-24, TCS had set a target of hiring 40,000 freshers.

In January 2024, TCS announced the commencement of the fresher recruitment process for the financial year 2024-25. However, physical campus visits are underway now.
