Wipro relaunching hiring for women SAP professionals with career break

Bengaluru-based IT major, Wipro has begun a program to support women professionals who are interested in relaunching their careers after a break of 6+ months.

The company said in a statement, “This is our Inclusion and Diversity [I&D] initiative for women who are looking to relaunch their career post a break – be it for a sabbatical, motherhood, elderly care, travel, passion, or any other personal reasons.”

“The initiative enables talented women to explore career opportunities that will harness their potential and allow them to get back on track with the present demands of the industry.” It added.

The program is for the SAP professionals with 3-10 years of experience. This program will benefit the women to restart their professional careers.

Recently, the company has announced its fourth-quarter results for the financial year 2022. It has also added 45,416 employees for the year ended March 31, 2022, and the total headcount stood at 2,43,128 employees. The addition was very high from the FY21 which added 14,826 employees.

Wipro’s revenues rose 28 per cent to Rs 20,860 crore in the quarter under review as compared to Rs 16,245 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
