Tech Mahindra’s CEO CP Gurnani said, “The use cases of Generative AI are still being defined, which means that it has the potential to create more job opportunities in the future.”

“Undoubtedly, the possibilities are just opening, and there is more to come,” CP Gurnani added.

He also urged young engineers to adapt to the changing world and invest more time in independently learning new skills.

“AI did not take away jobs, it created jobs,” he said.

The company aspects that 30% of non-customer-facing roles could be replaced by AI and automation in five years.

As per media reports, Infosys Founder Narayana Murthy commented on the fears of artificial intelligence (AI) replacing human beings at workplaces. He said that AI will give humans the space and time to think more creatively and productively, as an “assistive” tool.

The Infosys co-founder added that AI has made life more comfortable and human beings will never let technology replace them.

The CEO of OpenAI Sam Altman said AI has the potential to drastically change society but also has real dangers.

Sam Altman also believes that AI chatbots could “eliminate a lot of current jobs” but also have the potential to be “the greatest technology humanity has yet developed” to improve our lives.
