However, Cognizant started work from office in April this year on a voluntary basis, the company said in a statement that many employees will continue to work from home, although client and business requirements will determine the need to work from a Cognizant or client office.

“By the end of the year and into early 2023, we expect to fully transition to the hybrid work model as our long-term state. Across the hybrid model, employees will work a set number of days from the office. Their number of days in office versus remote will vary based on the kind of work they do and client requirements.” It said in a statement.

Currently, the US-based IT company has a total headcount of over 3,00,000 and the majority of its employees are working in India.

In 1994, the cognizant opened for business. In 2011, the company hit the Fortune 500 and hasn’t stopped climbing. Growth is just as important from the company’s point of view. The company has become a premier professional services firm by working hard to grow our employees’ long-term career paths and work-life balance
