The Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES), an IT employee union, has leveled accusations against DXC Technology.

Harpreet Singh Saluja  President NITES said, “Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate – NITES strongly condemns DXC Technology for unfairly delaying the start dates of over 4,800 new campus recruits. These graduates have been waiting over a YEAR with no income and facing uncertainty.”

“Many turned down other opportunities based on DXC’s promises. Now they’re stuck. This is a serious breach of trust and is hurting young professionals’ careers. We’ve urged the Ministry of Labour and Employment, GOI to investigate and protect these graduates. Join us in raising awareness”, Harpreet Singh added.

In April, Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES), an IT employee union, highlighted this issue with recent data.

According to NITES, approximately 10,000 freshers who were extended job offers over the past two years are still awaiting their official start dates with IT companies as the Times of India reported.

These delays are causing considerable concern among the affected freshers, who had anticipated starting their careers soon after graduation.

Instead, they are left in a state of uncertainty, impacting their financial stability and professional growth. The prolonged waiting period also raises questions about these IT firms’ recruitment and onboarding processes.

A leading Fortune 500 global technology services provider, DXC Technology was established through the merger of Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and the Enterprise Services division of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE).

SightsIn Plus reached out to the company, the story will be updated when DXC Technologies responds to this issue.
