Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE, formerly CCE), The Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Madras) has been launching a series of certification programs in areas that have high demand and are currently relevant and cutting edge.
Executive Education programs from IIT Madras
These programs are of duration anywhere between 1-6/9/12 months and are offered in online mode.
The program comprises a series of short courses/modules that can be offered sequentially or in parallel depending on the inter-module dependency. CODE, IITM conducts certification programs for exclusive upskilling of professionals already in the industry. The programs offered include eMobility, Quantum computing.
Why Such Programs
- There seems to be a space for providing well-designed self-contained programs targeting working professionals who want to learn new areas and upskill themselves.
- The demand for such certification programs coming from premier institutes such as IIT Madras seems high, which creates opportunities to network with peers and interact with the faculty of IITM for the learners.
- The online mode of content delivery is now widely accepted providing such working professionals with enough flexibility to learn at their convenience during the week while weekly online interactions provide the right amount of personalized attention too.

IIT Madras is providing courses for working professionals who wish to upskill themselves or explore new domains. The programs are offered online. The courses are been offered in various domains including Quantum Computing, Construction Technology and Management, Additive Manufacturing Technologies for Practicing Engineers, Operations and Supply Chain Analytics for Strategic Decision Making, and eMobility and Electric Vehicle Engineering – Cohort 3.
