Infosys, India’s second-largest IT services company, has scheduled its Q1 FY26 earnings announcement for July 23, 2025.
The company’s Board of Directors will convene on July 22 and 23 to review and approve the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial statements for the quarter ending June 30, 2025.
Investors and analysts are closely watching the results, as Infosys navigates global economic uncertainties, digital transformation trends, and evolving client demands.
Infosys Hiring Trends and Workforce Expansion
Infosys has announced plans to hire over 20,000 freshers in FY26, reinforcing its commitment to talent acquisition and workforce expansion.
The company’s hiring strategy focuses on AI, cloud computing, and digital transformation roles, ensuring alignment with emerging technology trends.
In FY25, Infosys added 6,388 employees, bringing its total headcount to 323,578. The company’s attrition rate stood at 14.1% in Q4 FY25, up from 13.7% in Q3.
Despite global economic challenges, Infosys remains optimistic about hiring, with CFO Jayesh Sanghrajka stating, “We expect to hire more than 20,000 freshers in FY26.”
Financial Performance in Previous Quarters
Infosys reported an 11.7% decline in net profit for Q4 FY25, amounting to ₹7,033 crore, compared to ₹7,969 crore in the same period last year.
However, the company’s profit rose 3.3% sequentially, despite a 2% revenue decline.
For the full fiscal year FY25, Infosys posted a 1.8% increase in profit, reaching ₹26,713 crore, while revenue grew 6% to ₹1,62,990 crore.
Market Expectations for Q1 FY26
Infosys has projected a 0–3% revenue growth in constant currency terms for FY26. Analysts anticipate:
- Stable revenue growth, driven by cloud, AI, and digital transformation services.
- Margin pressures, influenced by global macroeconomic conditions.
- Hiring trends, as the company plans to onboard 20,000 freshers this fiscal year.
