Samsung launches SheLEADS, women leadership program

A global leader, Samsung recently Launched a ‘‘SheLEADS’ – Women Leadership Development Program.

The ‘SheLEADS’ is a 12-week leadership development intervention for high-potential women talent at Samsung. The program identifies, develops, and empowers women employees to take up leadership positions within Samsung and impact change.

The company aims to lead by example and advocate for gender equality and the empowerment of all women in the workplace and be a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) workplace.

Moreover, Samsung India has always been at the forefront of showcasing and rewarding the remarkable achievements of women employees.

Through this program the company has chosen 20 participants to be a part of the ‘sheLEADS’ program those with a rich and diverse experience across multiple functions within Samsung with experience ranging from 5 – 20 years.

Moreover, With ‘sheLeads’ development program, the employees will be able to create a space that goes beyond being just a workplace and fosters employees’ growth by letting them unleash their full potential as leaders. 

Samsung believes in building and progressing with a company culture that respects and believes in the idea that diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) are essential to continued innovation and excellence. Samsung has constantly given platforms to its female employees and demonstrated how a company can embrace equity inside and out.

Samsung India has always been at the forefront of showcasing and rewarding the remarkable achievements of women employees. By pursuing excellence in several aspects of business, learning and development, these women are breaking down barriers and showing how women can become leaders of today and tomorrow.
