TCS recruits 10,000+ freshers from top engineering campuses

According to a Money Control report, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India’s largest IT services provider, recently recruited over 10,000 freshers in its latest hiring spree, highlighting its robust recruitment efforts.

Earlier, The company aimed to hire 40,000 freshers in FY24. In FY23, it onboarded 22,600 new employees, showcasing its consistent growth and commitment to workforce expansion.

While announcing the Q3FY24 results, TCS CHRO Milind Lakkad also highlighted that the company will recruit from college campuses and lateral hires.

While responding on the hiring, he said, “We are committed to hiring from college campuses and growing talent organically. We have commenced our campus hiring process for the next year and see tremendous excitement among freshers to join TCS.”

According to reports of the Money Contorl, VIT students secured 963 offer letters, with 103 in the prime category. S Vaidhyasubramaniam, vice-chancellor of SASTRA University, mentioned that 1,300 students received 2,000 offer letters at the college.

These numbers underscore the successful placement efforts and opportunities available to students in these institutions.

Recently, Tata Consultancy Services is hiring Arts, Commerce, and Science graduates under TCS BPS Hiring program for the 2024 graduating batch.

TCS BPS is designed to select the best talent in the country from 2024 passing out batches to fuel the growth plan of the organization through its business strategy. The last date to register for the upcoming TCS BPS Hiring before 26th April 2024 (Friday).

Recently, the company was hiring Engineering Freshers from the 2024 batch via TCS NQT. The TCS NQT follows an Integrated Test Pattern for Prime, Digital and Ninja fresher hiring at TCS. The candidates need to appear for a single test and based on the test performance, they will qualify for Prime, Digital, or Ninja interviews.

The last date of registration was April 10th 2024 and the test date is April 26th 2024 Onwards.
